Online & Social Media – Traffic is less important than conversions!
Don’t double your traffic, double your conversions. Matt Eldridge shows you how…
The average conversion rate for a website is a meagre 1.2%, meaning that 98.8 visitors of every hundred you draw to your site leave again without taking any action, and usually don’t return. But twice as many people visiting your site evidently doesn’t solve this problem, so you need to work on maximising your conversions rather than your traffic.
Increased conversion rates put you in a strong position in the market, and put you ahead of the competition. You will notice you are spending much less on generating traffic and leads, so you have more to put back into the business and can afford to spend more on customers and generating traffic.
