Market research provider Euromonitor International’s 2018 Global Consumer Trends report reveals the sort of person you will welcome through your door in the coming months.

One of the key messages Alison Angus has identified in her report is that “in 2018 consumers will seek more radical transparency from brands”.

With a stronger global economy, consumer expenditure is expected to grow, yet shifting consumer attitudes will continue to cause disruption for business this year. We will see consumers continuing to question their values, priorities and purchasing decisions, deepening their engagement in the brands and issues that matter to them.

Of the several classifications of modern consumer she identifies, four have special relevance to the health food industry.
